Online Shopping is a Mom’s Best Friend

You might already know this but I live in a small town. Only recently did we acquire a Super Walmart, and when its doors opened I thought I had died and gone to heaven. But even with our brand new Super Walmart I find myself spending quite a bit of time driving into some of the bigger cities to find the things I need. I have grown accustom to driving, but it can  become tedious. I find myself most aggravated around holidays and birthdays when the pressure is on to find a great gift. There is nothing worse than driving an hour or more into another town to scour stores for a hot toy or some new tech device. What’s worse is to drive home empty handed. Several years ago I decided I would no longer put myself through the stress or the hassle. Now when I need to shop for Christmas or a birthday, I simply do my shopping online. I don’t have to find someone to watch the kids. Many online retailers offer gift wrap-even if you don’t care to pay for such a service your items are sure to arrive in a big brown box, and little do you realize that box is worth its weight in gold. Only God, myself and Miss Cleo knows what’s in a box marked Amazon or Target, so I don’t stress about presents being found. Even better, UPS usually arrives when my husband is at work and the kids are at school.

You might be concerned about the cost of shipping. Many online retailers offer coupons and discount shipping. If you’re lucky you might even get free shipping. A great source for finding online shopping coupons  is CouponChief.com. At Coupon Chief you can search for a specific retailer and see if they are offering any coupons before you begin shopping on their site. So why continue to drive all over town wasting your precious time and money? Give yourself a break, Mom. Let the Coupon Chief  and internet do all the work for you.
