Going Back to School with Sweet Treats to Eat Contest

This is the first time I have held a contest on my blog,  so we’ll see how it goes. I am giving away a new copy of Hershey’s Fraction Book and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Multiplication Book.  I purchased both books from an online retailer who specializes in out-of-print books. The bar code has been crossed out on both, but they are both brand new, direct from the merchant.  In addition to the books you will  receive 12 Hershey Candy Bars. To participate simply leave a comment on this post.  You will need to include your e-mail address, so I am able to contact you in the event you are the winner. The contest will end at noon on August 14th. The winner will be randomly drawn from a hat. Because there is chocolate involved I have to limit this contest to participants who have U.S. mailing address.

How in the world am I going to send you 12 Hershey Bars in this 100 degree weather? Cross my fingers, I’ve got it all figured out :)

*****Update August 15th- And the winner is….Beth*******

Thank you all for participating.  I really appreciate it! I will be having another tasty contest next month, so please check back :)

  1. Hm, how many segments does a Hershey bar have again? 9? 12? That’s a lot of chocolate! I’ve used M&M’s for math before, but not the classic bar. Even if I don’t win, I’m going to check out that book–we’re gearing up for multiplication right now.

  2. Although I unfortunately don’t have a US address (unfortunately not only because I will miss out on the chocolate!) I wanted to comment anyway. Can’t wait to see the picture of your workspace!

  3. Thank you for the comments :)

    Kimmer,
The classic bar is 12 segments.

    Frumteacher,
I’m still working on it. Hopefully I will have it done soon.

  4. Oooh, yummy… We usually use jelly beans, but chocolate sounds sooo much better!!
